In celebration of the 21st Philippine Eagle Week, the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) in partnership with the USAID, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Cornell Lab of Ornithology rolled out a series of special screenings of the internationally acclaimed documentary the Bird of Prey, shot in ultra HD by wildlife cinematographer Neil Rettig. An exhibit on the Philippine Eagle Loan Program was also mounted in several cities in Mindanao through the support of DENR, Energy Development Corporation, SM City Davao and the local government units of Manolo Fortich, Butuan, Zamboanga and Saranggani.

Special screenings of the Bird of Prey film dubbed in Bisaya, and art workshops for kids were also held for the PEF's partner indigenous communities in Manolo Fortich, Butuan and Baracatan, Davao City. All thanks to the support of the USAID Protect Wildlife Project, DENR, Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Saddleback Haven, Sinabbadan Kag Tugal'lan ka Sibulan and Toril Bagobo Tagabawa Ancestral Domain Association and the local government units of Manolo Fortich, Butuan, Baracatan, Sibulan, and Daliaon Plantation.
